Biasi 3 Wood Cast Iron Boiler

Biasi Wood Boiler 3 Pass Technology with Btu output of up to 120,000 -
ASME certified and ETL approved

The Biasi 3WOOD is a new generation of wood boiler that challenges our oil dependency. It is efficient, easy to use, and produces low emissions.

Unlike wood boilers from the past, the Biasi 3WOOD dispels the notion that wood boilers are labor intensive, inefficient and polluting. 3WOOD offers consistent high efficiency with a large heat exchange surface and secondary combustion chamber.

The Biasi 3WOOD wood boilers water-cooled grates, large finned firebox and secondary combustion chamber maximize the burn time and minimize wood consumption. Easy adjustments to the automatic temperature control, secondary air regulator, and flue gas damper enhance fire maintenance. For over 70 years, the BIASI foundry has maintained a reputation for precision pressure castings and quality control that exceeds all international standards. The 3WOOD series is available in four sizes ranging from 89,000 to 120,000 BTU/HR. All threads and fittings are compatible with North American controls and accessories. 3WOOD, the only ASME certified and ETL approved cast iron wood boiler on the market, embodies the design innovation of QHT BIASI.

Designing a new heating system- Ask us

We very rarely find that a system we set up for one client will work in its entirely for another. We work with our clients to keep our systems simple and cost effective. If you would like us to help you design a system there are a few things we will need to know. To help us with your design, please read all of the material below.

Any floor plans with square footage highlighted, can be e-mailed to sales@houseneeds.com, faxed (802-583-2572) or mailed ahead of time will help greatly to speed up your Quote.

    HouseNeeds Inc.  Attn: Sales
    4805 Main St
    Waitsfield, VT 05673

    1.    Please include the square footage of the areas (zones) to be heated and not just the outside dimensions of the areas.

    2.   We will also need to know your desired type of radiant installation method. Different methods are Slab on Grade, Thin pour over concrete, Thin pour over wood, Staple up, Hung method, Heat Transfer Plates, Thermal Board or another form installation. (If you need help deciding we can help you after we have a set of your floor plans.)

    3.    A simple floor plan is all that is needed. The floor plans do not need to be intricate. Simple line drawings on graph paper work well.

    4.    A brief description of the number of windows and doors. Please include wall and ceiling insulation values if known.

    5. Please review the entire e-mail, as there are links below to heat sources, hydronics and radiant materials.

The best way is to do a heat loss you can go to the below link to help you compute one for your project...

Electro Warmflo Temperature Sensing Boiler with Dual Fuel

The Electro Electro-Boiler Midsize "MA, MO" Series is the most deluxe model that is designed for multiple temperature and zoning applications. This model has the ability to sense water temperature and maintain an accurate boiler temperature output by only energizing the electric elements for needed output (not full capacity). To learn more about this concept read WarmFlo. This model eliminates extra costs associated with relays, extra temperature controls, zone boxes, etc. Our more experienced installers use this boiler to avoid the extra cost of the above.

Our front panel temperature  knob allows you to simply dial in your desired output temperature and the TS will automatically adjust to meet your water temperature needs.  Available in 10-20 kW, single phase 240V.
